Camp Scholarships Top 2011 Highlights

Thanks to the continued support of our sponsors and our new donors, Shaken Baby Prevention, Inc., was able to provide numerous camp scholarships during the final quarter of 2010 and the first two quarters of 2011. We are thankful we have been able to help once again given the present state of the economy. With your support, our public service announcement, Shaking a Baby Shatters Lives, and classroom education continues. The PSA boosts visits to www.sbsprevention.org and the billboard continues to save lives.

Other highlights to date:

  • Therapeutic riding scholarships given to special needs children and teens in Virginia.
  • Winter break camp scholarships provided to boys from Virginia and Maryland in December 2010.
  • Ten 2011 one-week summer Camp scholarships to special needs boys and girls from VA and MD.
  • Texas Hold 'Em Spring event raised over $2,000. Stay tuned for another fabulous Winter tournament.
